The flights are well-served (over 50 daily nonstop arrivals from major Asian hubs), the airport (Denpasar / DPS) handles luxury arrivals smoothly, and the harbor logistics are simpler than departing from Labuan Bajo or Sorong. The wall dives of Menjangan are some of the most underrated in Indonesia — drops to 60+ meters, visibility of 30–40 meters, and the WWII-era USS Liberty wreck nearby at Tulamben. Best paired with a 4-5 day itinerary that includes Pemuteran reef restoration sites and the eastern Bali coast.

Bali waters are sailable year-round, with the dry season (April through October) offering the calmest conditions. The wet season (November through March) sees occasional afternoon rain but typically calm sea conditions for sheltered itineraries. Peak demand: July, August, December, and the U.S. holiday weeks.
For sunset cruises and short voyages around Bali itself, any week of the year works. For Bali-to-Komodo crossings, follow the Komodo dry season window (April–November). For Mola Mola at Crystal Bay, target July–October specifically.
