A phinisi cruise is a private full-yacht charter aboard a traditional Indonesian wooden sailing vessel. Unlike commercial cruise ships (which carry hundreds of passengers and follow fixed routes), a phinisi cruise is exclusively yours — your group has the entire vessel, the crew, the chef, and the itinerary. You decide where the boat anchors, what activities run each day, what you eat, and how the days unfold.
The “cruise” terminology is more familiar to American travelers than “charter,” but the experience is fundamentally different from any cruise ship voyage. Phinisi cruises are intimate (8–16 guests maximum), bespoke (every itinerary is custom), and immersive (you connect with each destination at a depth no large vessel allows).
